Popular in Scandinavia, Silver Birch will be one of the widely used hardwoods in Europe. Kiln dried to perfection and hand packed in our regular size crate, that can generally be a half winter's supply for an average user and holds an approximately 40 x DIY stores handy nets of firewood.
Not only looks apart with the white silver coloured bark but Silver Birch firewood has been a source of reliable heat for centuries. Widely used as in home decor and home heating, we would rank it as excellent flamer with stunning views in glass-fronted appliances.
OUR TIP. Use the bark of Silver Birch as your firelighter. Just peel off the bark and put a log across over before setting a fire.

Kiln dried refers to wood that has been dried in a thermally insulated chamber, drawing any excess water from it.
Whereas traditionally seasoned hardwood takes a minimum of one year to reduce its excess moisture to even 20% and even this is not consistent than kiln drying method brings it down to 15% in a matter of a few days!
