The ECOFUEL™ Winter Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is Ecofuel Store Ireland Limited (company no. 561562), registered in Ireland.

2. Eligibility

• Open to residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over.
  

• One entry per person. Multiple, automated, bulk, or third-party entries are not permitted and may result in disqualification.
  

• Employees of Ecofuel Store Ireland Limited, their immediate family members, household members, agents, or anyone professionally connected to the promotion are not eligible.
  

• Ecofuel may request proof of age and residency (e.g., photo ID and recent utility/bank statement).
  
  

3. Promotion Period & How to Enter

How to enter: Complete the entry form at ecofuel.ie/giveaway (free to enter; no purchase necessary) with full name, email address, county of residence, and confirm you are 18+ and accept these T&Cs.

• Opens: 00:00 (Irish time) on 25 September 2025
  

• Closes: 23:59 (Irish time) on 30 November 2025
  

• How to enter: Complete the entry form at ecofuel.ie/giveaway (free to enter; no purchase necessary) with full name, email address, county of residence, and confirm you are 18+ and accept these Terms.
  

• One valid entry covers the full promotion period.
  

• Entries after the closing time will not be included.
  
  

4. Prizes

Prizes are issued as ECOFUEL™ digital gift cards:

• 1 × €1,000
  

• 2 × €500
  

• 2 × €250
  

• 75 × €100
  
  

Prize pool: €10,000 in total; 80 winners; maximum one prize per person.

Gift card terms (Republic of Ireland):

• Validity: minimum 5 years from issue (Consumer Protection (Gift Vouchers) Act 2019).
  

• Use: redeemable on ecofuel.ie for products and shipping; partial redemption allowed; remaining balances retained until expiry.
  

• Cash refunds: balances below €1 may be refunded in cash on request, per Irish law.
  

• Non-transferable; no cash alternative, except where Ecofuel, at its discretion, substitutes an equal or higher-value prize if unavailable.
  

• Delivery: gift card codes will be emailed to winners within 10 working days after confirmation. Treat codes like cash; lost or misdirected codes may not be reissued if already redeemed.
  
  

5. Winner Selection, Verification & Publication

• Draw date: 4 December 2025.
  

• Method: winners selected at random from all valid entries using Random.org unique integer generation, mapped to a numbered entrant list.
  

• Audit trail: Ecofuel will retain draw records (entrant export with timestamp, Random.org screenshots with timestamp, mapping sheet, and internal sign-off).
  

• Notification: Winners will be notified by email within 72 hours of the draw (check spam/junk). Confirmed winners will be published by 15 December 2025.

• Claim window: winners must confirm acceptance within 7 days of notification (by 14 December 2025). If not, Ecofuel may redraw the prize using the same method.
  

• Publication: confirmed winners will be publicly announced no later than 15 December 2025, showing first name and county (e.g., “Aoife, Galway”). Winners may request anonymity in exceptional circumstances; Ecofuel will consider reasonable requests.
  
  

6. Disqualification & Fair Play

Ecofuel may, at its reasonable discretion, disqualify entries that:

• Breach these Terms & Conditions.
  

• Use disposable/temporary emails, automated tools, scripts, or bots.
  

• Attempt multiple entries by the same person.
  

• Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information.

Ecofuel’s decision is final and binding regarding eligibility and award of prizes (without affecting statutory rights). Ecofuel may appoint an independent scrutineer/solicitor to oversee or verify draw procedures.

7. Data Protection (GDPR)

• Controller: Ecofuel Store Ireland Limited (contact: hello@ecofuel.ie).
  

• Data collected for entry: name, email, county, 18+ confirmation, and anti-fraud data (e.g., IP address/user-agent hash, timestamp, UTM parameters).
  

• Purpose & legal bases:
  

• Competition administration (entries, draw, verification, fulfilment, audit trail): legitimate interests.
  

• Marketing (newsletters, offers): consent only via a separate, unticked opt-in checkbox. Entry is not conditional on marketing consent.
  

• Retention:
  

• Non-winners: deleted or anonymised within 3 months after the draw.
  

• Winners: essential records retained up to 7 years (audit, tax, compliance).
  

• Rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent (without affecting prior lawful processing). Exercisable via hello@ecofuel.ie.
  

• Sharing & transfers: Ecofuel may use service providers (e.g., Shopify) to host/process data under safeguards; see Ecofuel’s Privacy Policy for details.
  

• Privacy Policy: This promotion is subject to Ecofuel’s Privacy Policy. These Terms govern competition-specific rules and do not limit GDPR rights.
  
  

8. Liability

• Ecofuel is not responsible for entries not received due to technical, network, or platform issues beyond its control. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
  

• Ecofuel will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by entrants or winners, except where caused by Ecofuel’s negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory duty.
  

• Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
  

• If events outside Ecofuel’s control make the promotion impossible or materially affect it, Ecofuel may cancel, suspend, or amend it, provided such changes do not materially disadvantage entrants without good reason. Material changes will be communicated on the giveaway page.
  
  

9. General

• No purchase necessary.
  

• Republic of Ireland promotion only.
  

• Maximum one prize per person.
  

• Entries must be made only via the official entry form at ecofuel.ie/giveaway. Postal/phone entries are not accepted.
  

• Unclaimed prizes within the 7-day window may be redrawn and re-awarded.
  

• This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Google, Random.org, or any other third-party platform.
  

• If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
  
  

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.
